Chelsea have completed the signing of Pedro Neto from Wolves for a reported £54million.

The 24-year-old has signed a seven-year deal with the Blues which keeps him in Stamford Bridge until 2031.

Neto was presented to Chelsea supporters at half-time at Stamford Bridge during their pre-season clash with Inter Milan on Sunday.

The Blues struck a deal with Wolves for the winger on Friday after two previous bids were rejected.

Neto joined Wolves from Lazio in 2019, making 135 appearances and scoring 14 goals.

Despite two spells out with injury last term, the Portugal international provided 11 assists last season and scored three goals.

The reported £54m fee is a record sale for Wolves, eclipsing the £47m they received from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal in 2023 for Ruben Neves.

it also takes Chelsea’s total summer outlay to around £185m, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga and Omari Kellyman, goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, defenders Tosin Adarabioyo, Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley, winger Estevao Willian and striker Marc Guiu all signing.

Deals for Atletico Madrid forward Samu Omorodion and Genk goalkeeper Mike Penders are also said to be close.
