Liverpool midfielder Gravenberch admits they’ve had a ‘really hard’ week

-

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is targeting a positive end to the season following a “really hard” week.

Jurgen Klopp’s long goodbye at Anfield is in danger of falling flat after a poor run of form that has seen them exit the FA Cup and Europa League.

Their chances of winning the Premier League have also evaporated after a week in which derby defeat at Everton was followed by a 2-2 draw at West Ham on Saturday.

Gravenberch told the club’s official website: “Now the league will be really difficult and also we are out of Europe. We have to finish the league well now.

“Everybody is disappointed. But we have to go [forward] now. Tottenham is this week and we have to prepare for that – and we will do.

“We have to prepare well for them and we have to believe and we have to win that game.”

Liverpool are five points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal with just three games remaining.

“It was a really hard [week],” added Gravenberch. “Of course as a player you want to win prizes and now it will be really difficult.

“You have to keep dreaming and keep believing always, but it will be really hard for us. Everyone is disappointed because we wanted to win [at West Ham].”
