Edin Terzic knows Borussia Dortmund are not Champions League favourites, but he says his side may be the hungriest team left in the competition ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
Dortmund came through an enthralling quarter-final tie with Atletico Madrid 5-4 on aggregate to reach the competition’s last four for the first time since 2013 – when they lost to Bayern Munich in the final at Wembley Stadium.
They could yet face a rematch with their domestic rivals on the same ground this year, but Kylian Mbappe and company stand in their way after overcoming Barcelona in the last eight.

PSG took four points off Dortmund in the group stage prior to Christmas, though it was the Bundesliga side who topped the pile in Group F.
While Terzic knows many have already written Dortmund off, he is backing them to give a good account of themselves, saying: “In 180 minutes, anything is possible for us.
“I don’t know if we were the favourites in the group. Maybe we have the least experience as a team, but maybe we have more hunger. We have to take advantage of this.
“We have to prepare for everything and have a clear plan, but we must not overcoach things, we must have confidence in our strengths. With our game, we have a chance.
“The goal is to get a small advantage, but the idea is also to have two close matches. We must not focus on one or two players.”

PSG are looking to reach just their second Champions League final, having gone down to Bayern in the 2020 showpiece match under Thomas Tuchel.
Luis Enrique’s current crop wrapped up the Ligue 1 title on Sunday and this is likely to be their final chance to become European champions with Mbappe in their ranks, as he is widely expected to join Real Madrid as a free agent this summer.
Terzic believes PSG have rarely been as strong as they are this term, saying: “PSG are at their peak this season.
“We have to do better than what we did against them in Dortmund [in a 1-1 draw in December]. They have seen big upheaval, a lot of new players arrived.
“They brought great quality to the team. Their clear plan is to win the Champions League. They have shown very good performances very consistently in recent weeks.”
