Club-record signing Evanilson makes his Bournemouth debut when the Cherries host Newcastle in the 2024-25 Premier League on Sunday.

The hosts are seeking their first win of the season and first in nine Premier League games in August.

Andoni Iraola’s side drew their opening match 1-1 at Nottingham Forest, while Newcastle won 1-0 at home to Southampton despite being reduced to 10 men.

Five of the last nine Premier League games between these sides have ended in draws, with the Magpies winning on three occasions.

Evanilson is the most prominent inclusion, having arrived in a £40.2m deal from Porto earlier this month.

The 24-year-old scored a hat-trick for the Portuguese club at Antwerp in last season’s Uefa Champions League.

Bournemouth starting XI: Neto, Araujo, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez, Christie, Cook, Semenyo, Tavernier, Kluivert, Evanilson
