Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior says he will “take care” of Kylian Mbappe as the Frenchman prepares to start his new chapter in Spain.

The World Cup winner left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer to pursue his dream of playing for Los Blancos but he will have to fit in alongside several other stars who shine in the spotlight.

Vinicius is just one of them alongside Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo but the Brazilian insists although it will be tough, he wants to make sure Mbappe settles in quickly at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Speaking to Real Madrid TV, he said: “Is going to be brutal, I hope we can do great things.

“We have to take care of him and do everything possible so that he can adapt as quickly as possible.

“It is always difficult to join another club, but we already did it with Jude [Bellingham], who arrived last season and has shone. Hopefully we can repeat it with Kylian [Mbappe].”

Madrid will be defending their title against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, who have both strengthened their squads this summer.

Los Blancos are also the Champions League holders and will set out in 2024-25 aiming to retain both titles with a new weapon in attack.
