Wales captain Aaron Ramsey is certain there is an exciting future ahead for his country under new head coach Craig Bellamy.
The Dragons appointed the former Cardiff and Manchester City winger on a four-year deal in July following the sacking of Rob Page a month earlier.
Ramsey played alongside his new manager for club and country and is now backing him to succeed where Page could not.
Speaking to BBC Sport Wales, he said: “I’m really excited.
“I’ve known Craig for a number of years now and I’m absolutely delighted for him.
“I’m sure he’s going to be a real success. If you look at the teams he’s been involved with and the way they’ve played – on the front foot, pressing high, aggressive, controlling the game – I think Wales have got a lot to look forward to.

“Hopefully there are some exciting times ahead.”
Bellamy earned 78 caps for Wales during his playing days and like Ramsey, went on to become captain.
Since retiring, he has gone on to kickstart a career in coaching and served as Vincent Kompany’s assistant at Burnley.
He could have followed the Belgian to Bayern Munich this summer, but instead opted to lead his nation into the World Cup qualifiers.
His first game will be a Nations League clash against Turkey on 6 September, followed by a trip to Montenegro.
