Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian.

The 17-year-old is set to join the Blues next summer in a deal worth up to £51million, making him the most expensive South American teenager in history.

He will remain with Brazilian club Palmeiras for another season but has already put pen to paper on a deal with the Premier League giants.

Willian is regarded as one of the top prospects on the planet and has been nicknamed the ‘Little Messi’ in his home country.

Todd Boehly continues to prioritise up-and-coming talent at Chelsea and are hoping to emulate the attention Real Madrid have had with Endrick.

Willian will join fellow Brazilians Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington and Angelo Gabriel at Stamford Bridge.

And the Blues’ business is not going to stop there.

They have reportedly agreed a £19m fee with Aston Villa to sign teenager Omari Kellyman, while Ian Maatsen is set to go the other way.
