Aston Villa will include Ollie Watkins and Emiliano Martinez in the squad for tomorrow’s home game with Brentford – although they face late fitness tests to determine their availability.
The pair – so instrumental to Villa’s bid to play Champions League football next season – missed the 4-1 defeat at Manchester City on Wednesday night.

England striker Watkins sustained a hamstring injury during the 2-0 win over Wolves last weekend while Argentina’s World Cup-winning goalkeeper Martinez was a late scratch from the side that lost in midweek due to illness.
“Emi and Ollie, they are included in the squad for tomorrow. Tomorrow we will know if they are available,” said head coach Unai Emery.
There was less positive news about young midfielder Jacob Ramsey who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a toe injury.
Emery has confirmed that Jacob Ramsey will be out for the rest of the season.
The boss adds that a decision on the availability of Emi Martínez and Ollie Watkins will be made tomorrow.

Right-back Matty Cash remains sidelined while key midfielder Douglas Luiz will walk a disciplinary tightrope as he is one booking away from a two-game suspension.
Captain John McGinn returns having served a three-game ban for his red card against Tottenham.
Villa go into the game in fourth place in the Premier League with Spurs two points back but with a game in hand.
