AC Milan have signed Spain captain and Euro 2024 winner Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid.
The Serie A side triggered the 31-year-old’s release clause, which sources say was around £11million.
Morata captained Spain to victory at Euro 2024 in Germany this summer and put on a clinic in classic centre-forward play, particularly in the final against England.
He is also a two-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid, where he also made his professional debut.
The 80-cap international has already enjoyed time in Italy during his career, winning Serie A twice with Juventus.
He scored 59 goals in 185 appearances for the Old Lady, taking his total tally to over 200 for every club he has represented.
