New England kit: Euro 2024 Nike shirts revealed as Kane, Saka, Foden and Grealish wear jerseys

Captain Harry Kane and playmaker Jack Grealish have been among the players to model the new England kits which will be worn by Gareth Southgate’s players at Uefa Euro 2024.

The Three Lions will wear a purple away shirt and a traditional white home number with a red and blue sleeve and dark collar which is reminiscent of the design worn by the team at the Fifa 1986 World Cup.

Nike say the trim on the cuffs is inspired by “training gear worn by England legends of the past”, and a side panel on the away shirt contains seven different colours in a “nod to English fashion”.

The flag of St George is on the collar of the shirt, with photos showing its look made up of reds, blues and purples on the home design.

Bayern Munich striker Kane was pictured wearing formal trousers with the shirts and posing in an armchair as part of a shoot featuring Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, West Ham’s Declan Rice, Manchester City’s Phil Foden, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.

Members of the England women’s, blind, partially-sighted, cerebral palsy, powerchair and deaf teams also took part in the launch.

Kane and his team-mates will wear the new kits for the first time when they host Brazil on March 23 and Belgium three days later. Both games are at Wembley Stadium.

The Lionesses will follow suit when they begin their qualifying campaign for Euro 2025 in April.

New Euro 2024 kits

England are one of several teams taking part in Euro 2024 to have their kits released by Nike today.

Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk features in the promotional material for the new Netherlands strip, while World Cup finalists France and Portugal, who won all 10 of their qualifying matches, also have new attire.

The tournament starts on June 14, when hosts Germany face a Scotland side aiming to reach the knockout stage for the first time at the fourth attempt.

England’s campaign begins against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on June 16 and proceeds to matches with Denmark in Frankfurt on June 20 and Slovenia in Cologne on June 25.
