Rob Edwards says Luton and Bournemouth have a “special bond” ahead of tomorrow night’s Premier League meeting between the sides at the Vitality Stadium.
The fixture has been rearranged after the original game in December was abandoned when Hatters captain Tom Lockyer suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch.

Lockyer will travel to the south coast tomorrow to meet the paramedics that helped save his life and Luton boss Edwards knows the events that surrounded the first game being called off will ensure there will always be a unique relationship between the clubs.
He said: “The two clubs have a special bond.
“The Bournemouth Supporters’ Trust has been raising money for our supporters, to help pay for their travel, because they have had to make the journey twice. I think that shows a lot of class.
“Both sets of supporters have also raised a lot of money towards the British Heart Foundation, also raising awareness.
“So off the back of what was a harrowing experience for everybody, I think a lot of good has come out of it and, as I said, a special bond between the two clubs.”
On Lockyer, he added: “He is coming down with us [to Bournemouth] which will be great.
“I know he has got bigger things on his mind than football at the moment, with a new baby, so he is in a position where that is his main focus.
“But it has already been said that, going forward, we would love to have him here on a weekly or even daily basis, to be in and around the players, because he can help us with his experience.”
Although there is a wider narrative to the game, the fact is Luton need points in their battle to avoid relegation.
A win tomorrow would see them climb out of the bottom three with Nottingham Forest slipping in.
