Andoni Iraola has been rewarded for Bournemouth’s fine form by being named Premier League Manager of the Month for March with Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz scooping the player award.
Iraola has led the Cherries to three wins and a draw in their last four games, all against teams towards the bottom of the table, to effectively end any thoughts of Bournemouth being dragged into the relegation battle.

They have beaten Burnley, Luton – coming back from 3-0 down to triumph 4-3, and Everton while also drawing with Sheffield United.
Iraola said: “This award is for the whole club. I’m the one in charge but we have had a good run of results in March.
“The ones that probably deserve it more are the players because they are the ones that give us the chance to be successful and get the results.
“Luton was a special game. We have had a few games where we were close to not winning them and scored late.”

Muniz was the joint highest-scorer in March with four goals as well as adding an assist. He also ended the month on a high with a brilliant injury-time volley to earn Fulham a point in a 3-3 draw at Sheffield United.
