Manchester City can close the gap to Arsenal to just one point with a win against Brighton on Thursday.
Pep Guardiola and his City side currently occupy third in the table, four points off top spot with a game in hand.
City have scored 13 goals in their last three Premier League matches and have won three of their last five, drawing two.
Brighton, who currently sit 10th in the league, could be equal on points with 9th place Chelsea with a win at home.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have won just one in their last five, drawing two and losing two.
The Seagulls have also failed to score in two of the five in what has been a difficult run of games.
Champions League qualification is all but secured for City, but the hosts find themselves playing catch-up to make it into Europe again next season.
Match details
The home side have lost 11 of their previous 13 Premier League encounters with Man City.
Although, the four points they have collected during this run have come across their last three home games.
Brighton currently sit 10th in the table, six points behind seventh-placed Manchester United and sixth-placed Newcastle United with six games left to play.
City will be looking to close the gap to the top two teams in the fight for the title.
Expected Line-ups
De Zerbi and his team’s injury struggles continue as his Brighton side remain without Kaoru Mitoma, Jack Hinshelwood and Solly March.
There are also doubts surrounding Evan Ferguson, Billy Gilmour, James Miler and Adam Webster.
Guardiola may be without star striker Erling Haaland after missing the FA Cup semi-final clash with a muscle complaint. Phil Foden is also a doubt after missing training on Tuesday.
