Ben White has signed a new four-year contract at Arsenal which will keep the defender at the club until 2028.
Right-sided defender White joined the Gunners for £50 million from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021 and has made 97 appearances for them in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old headed Arsenal’s first chance of the game over the bar before they overturned a 1-0 first-leg deficit to beat Porto on penalties following a 1-1 draw and reach the quarter-finals of the Uefa Champions League at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
White has played in all but one of Arsenal’s matches this season, scoring twice and providing four assists in the top flight.

A Newport County, Peterborough United and Leeds United loanee during his time at Brighton, White earned the Seagulls’ player of the season award on the same day he was named in the England squad for the first time in June 2021.
England have not selected White since his departure from their Fifa World Cup training base midway through the 2022 tournament.
The Three Lions said White had left the camp for personal reasons, and he went on to help Arsenal finish second to Manchester City in a tight title race in 2022/23.
White played in all of Arsenal’s Premier League matches during that campaign, including every minute of their final 10 matches.
One of his two goals came in a dramatic 3-2 comeback win at home to Bournemouth, and he assisted five times along the way.
Ben White salary
White’s previous deal earned him £120,000 a week or more than £6.2m a year, according to Capology.
Speaking to Sky Sports about his future at Arsenal earlier this month, White said he “wouldn’t want to be anywhere else”.
“I’m very settled and all my family are here,” he added. “It’s an amazing place to live and playing for Arsenal tops it off.
“We’re all so relaxed and focused on the next game, doing everything during the week to get the three points at the weekend.”
White’s new deal will have an extension option until 2029, reported Fabrizio Romano, who also said full-back Takehiro Tomiyasu is on the verge of a new deal.
